DEPUTY DEAN FOR EDUCATIONAL WORK OF THE CORRESPONDENCE DEPARTMENT OF SECOND HIGHER EDUCATION AND MASTER’S PROGRAM

KURBONOV KURBON BOBOEVICH – CANDIDATE OF LAW, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

         Kurbonov Kurbon Boboevich – was born on April 28, 1982, in the Republic of Tajikistan. In 1999, he entered the full-time department of the Faculty of Law of the Tajik State National University (now the Tajik National University) and graduated in 2004. He began his professional career at the same university. In 2005-2006, he served as the Head of the Department of Coordination and Forecasting of the Tajik State National University of Tajikistan (now the Tajik National University). From 2006 to 2009, he was the Chief Specialist of the Legal Support and Secretariat Department of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan (now the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan). From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law, and from 2010 to 2015; he was an assistant professor at the Department of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law. Since 2015, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Civil Law. From 2013 to 2015, he held the position of Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for Science and International Relations. From 2015 to 2023, he headed the Department of Transport Law and Natural Resource Law of the Faculty of Law. From March 2023 to April 2024, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the full-time department. Since April 2024, he has been working as the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Distance Learning Department of Second Higher Education and Master’s Programs.

         He holds the academic title of Associate Professor in the specialty 12.00.03 – Civil Law; Business Law; Family Law; Private International Law (Jurisprudence). Current problems of civil law, topical issues of the right to privacy, topical issues of land law, and transport law are among the main topics of his scientific research. In 2012, at the Dissertation Council of the Tajik National University, the A.M. Bakhovaddinov Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan,and the Interstate Educational Institution of Higher Education Russian-Tajik Slavic University, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Civil Law Problems of the Right to Inviolability of Private Life.”

         He teaches subjects of civil law, family law, Roman law, land law, and transport law. He is the author of over 50 scientific, research, and educational-methodological works. He has participated in national and international scientific conferences and has undertaken business trips to the Russian Federation, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Bulgaria.

         The named individual has made a significant contribution to the public life of the country and was elected as an expert of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Republic of Tajikistan (2019, 2020). For effective merits in the training of young specialists, he was awarded the Order “Excellent Worker of Education and Science of Tajikistan” (2017), the medal “90 Years of Justice of Tajikistan” (2015), and the Certificate of Honor of the Tajik National University (2015). He has 20 years of scientific and pedagogical experience. He is married and has four children.
