Within the framework of the European ERASMUS+ program for academic exchange of university staff and faculty, the Head of the Department of Judicial Law and Prosecutorial Supervision of the Faculty of Law of the Tajik National University, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Izatullo Teshaevich Mahmudov, is currently on a working visit to Daugavpils University in the Republic of Latvia to participate in an international training.
It should be noted that this high-level international event brings together more than 60 scholars and professors from 12 countries representing various continents.
During the event, Associate Professor Mahmudov I.T. represented the Tajik National University, highlighting the university’s capacities and opportunities in the field of academic exchange of faculty and students, and emphasizing the importance of strengthening international partnerships with foreign institutions.
As part of the visit, productive meetings were also held with the Rector of Daugavpils University, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, and Academician Arvīds Barševskis; Vice-Rector for International Relations, Janis Kudins; and Vice-Rector for Legal Affairs, Security and Ethics, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Janis Teivans-Treinovskis.
We hope that the outcomes of this training, as well as the discussions and meetings held, will contribute to the development of international cooperation and further enhance the international profile of the university.
