One of the key divisions of the scientific framework at the National University of Tajikistan is the Student Scientific Society, which was established with the aim of promoting student research activities and preparing highly qualified specialists in various fields.
In this regard, the Faculty of Law also operates student scientific societies within its departments. These societies, under the guidance of experienced and skilled instructors, play a significant role in enhancing the theoretical and practical knowledge of students.
Within this framework, students not only become familiar with methods of scientific research and the analysis of academic issues, but also actively participate in conducting research. By writing academic papers and presenting research reports, they continuously refine their knowledge and scholarly abilities.
It is worth mentioning that the organization of conferences, research competitions, and student Olympiads under the slogan “Students and Scientific-Technical Progress” has been ongoing since the university’s establishment. These events have continuously encouraged students to engage in scientific work and laid a strong foundation for the emergence of prominent scholars and the publication of scientific works and monographs in a relatively short period.
It is encouraging to note that the scope of the activities of the Scientific Society of the Faculty of Law is expanding every year, and the number of students participating in academic circles is steadily growing.
One of the primary areas of activity for the active members of the scientific society is participation in inter-university, national, and international Olympiads. Every year, as a tradition, the Olympiad of students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan is held, and the Faculty of Law’s teams from the National University of Tajikistan consistently rank among the top institutions in the country.
It should also be noted that scientific societies operate under all departments of the Faculty of Law and bring together the most active and engaged students. Meetings of the scientific society are held monthly at the departmental level, where at least three academic reports or papers are presented.
Membership in the faculty’s student scientific society is voluntary, and any student may join to deepen their academic knowledge and enhance their scientific competencies.
