The student scientific club “Environmental Protectors”, operating under the Department of Transport Law and Law on the Use of Natural Resources of the Faculty of Law at Tajik National University, is one of the important forms of extracurricular educational and research activity for students. Established through the initiative of the department’s professors and with the support of the faculty administration, the club aims to strengthen the scientific and intellectual environment among students and provide a real platform for the development of young talents in the fields of law and environmental protection.
The club functions as a free space for intellectual and scientific discourse, where students, under the guidance of experienced professors, analyze and discuss urgent issues such as climate change, environmental protection, and ensuring ecological safety for citizens. During these discussions, students not only deepen their theoretical knowledge but also develop legal analysis skills, debate techniques, and public speaking abilities.
One of the main directions of the club’s activity is involving students in scientific research. Club members select research topics of theoretical and practical significance and conduct studies under the supervision of professors. The results are presented in the form of scientific articles, reports, and term papers. This process contributes to the development of students’ methodological and research skills and prepares them for independent analytical work.
Additionally, the club contributes annually to the organization of student conferences, roundtable discussions, scientific seminars, and meetings with scientists and experts in the field of ecology. These events facilitate the exchange of ideas and scientific experiences and allow students to engage in real scientific and professional environments.
The club pays special attention to discovering and supporting young talents. Students who actively engage in research and scientific presentations receive support from the department and faculty and are recommended to participate in national and international conferences. Short-term training courses and meetings with government officials are also held within the club to broaden students’ practical experience.
The activity of the “Environmental Protectors” club promotes scientific cooperation between professors and students. It is not just an additional educational tool but a real school of science, research, and patriotism. Through its efforts, the club contributes to the formation of educated individuals with legal thinking and civic responsibility, helping to raise a new generation.
Overall, the student scientific club “Environmental Protectors” is not only an organizational form of student scientific work but a dynamic environment for critical thinking and the development of scientific personalities. It plays a significant role in the scientific development of the faculty and in raising the level of legal and environmental awareness among youth.
The scientific club “Environmental Protectors” operates actively each year as one of the important educational and scientific units, attracting students to research and enhancing their ecological literacy. The main goal of the club is to involve students in scientific research, strengthen their ecological worldview, and develop analytical thinking in the field of environmental protection.
Each year, the club holds more than six regular sessions, during which over 20 reports are delivered and discussed in Tajik, Russian, and English. The topics of these presentations mainly focus on environmental issues, ecological safety, and climate change.
The club also organizes scientific and educational events dedicated to important national and historical dates, such as the Independence Day, Constitution Day, President’s Day, and National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan. During these events, students actively participate with scientific presentations and celebratory speeches.
Every spring, traditionally in April, the club hosts a student scientific conference with the broad participation of faculty members and students. The best presentations are delivered and discussed during the event, and active participants are awarded certificates of appreciation and books.
The scientific club “Environmental Protectors” has more than 30 members each year, selected from students of 1st to 4th year. Active members of the club participate in conferences, competitions, and scientific-practical events, contributing significantly to the development of the research environment of the faculty.
