1. In accordance with Article 41 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan and Article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Education”, citizens with higher professional education are allowed to receive secondary and additional higher professional education only on a contractual basis (insolvent).
2. Taking into account the availability of higher professional education among citizens, the period of study is determined after determining the differences in the curricula (depending on the qualification), including the actual study of specialized subjects. After the applicant passes the interview-competition, the education department determines the differences in the curricula depending on the requirements of the current educational programs of the university and submits them to the admissions committee.
3. After reviewing the applicants’ documents, the admissions committee carries out the following admissions procedure, taking into account the number of discrepancies:
- if there are no more than 7 distinctions in subjects from the third year;
- with more than 7 distinctions in subjects from the second year of study.
4. Applicants with a first higher professional education, in order to obtain a second higher professional education, shall submit the following documents within the established time period in accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the level of higher professional education and these Rules:
• application addressed to the rector of the university;
• state diploma with an appendix on graduation from a higher professional educational institution (original);
• a copy of the work record book on work activity in accordance with the chosen direction, course and specialty;
• medical certificate (form No. 086-U);
• 6 photographs (size 3×4 cm);
• passport or identity document;
5. The order of the rector of the university on the enrollment of students for obtaining a second higher professional education is issued no later than 15 days from the date of the interview based on the decision of the admissions committee.
6. Candidates who fail to appear for the entrance interview on the specified date without a valid reason will be considered as having failed the interview.
7. If an applicant is dissatisfied with the results of the competition, he/she has the right to review the results of the interview (even written) within 2 days by filing an appeal in the manner established by the university.
