
RAHMONZODA MUHAMMAD JAMSHED – DEAN OF THE LAW FACULTY OF TNU, CANDIDATE OF LAW, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Rahmonzoda Muhammad Jamshed was born on April 24, 1994 in the Republic of Tajikistan. In 2017, he graduated from the Law Faculty of the Tajik National University. From 2017 to 2021, he worked as an assistant at the Department of Criminal Law and Anti—Corruption at the Law Faculty of the Tajik National University, and from 2022 to the present, he has been an associate professor at the same department. From November 3, 2021 to March 18, 2026 — Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Anti-Corruption at the Law Faculty of the Tajik National University.
Since March 18, 2026, by order of the Rector of the National University of Tajikistan, in coordination with the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, he has been the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Tajik National University.
On February 26, 2021, at the dissertation Council of the Tajik National University, he defended his PhD thesis on “Criminal liability for illegal banking activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan” under the supervision of Doctor of Law, Professor Safarzoda A.I.
He was awarded various awards for his outstanding and impeccable contributions to the development of legal science in the country. Certificate of Appreciation from the Central Electoral and Referendum Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan (2020), Diploma from the Tajik National University (2020), Certificate of Appreciation from the State Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan (2022), Diploma of the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (2022), Ismail Somoni State Prize for Young Scientists for Outstanding Achievements in the field of science and technology (2023), Diploma of the Tajik National University (2024), Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan (2024), Certificate of Appreciation of the Executive Service under the Government Republic of Tajikistan (2024), Excellent Student of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan (2025), etc.
His research area covers criminal law, criminology, penal enforcement law, crimes against public safety, crimes of a terrorist nature and is the author of more than 40 scientific research materials.
Speaks Russian and English.
He is married and has two children.
