Аccommodation

Tajik National University is one of the country’s highest professional educational institutions. Over the years of state independence, modern conditions for scientific and educational activities have been created here, in accordance with the consistent leadership of the President, to improve the social and living conditions of students and enhance their professional development.

Over the years of state independence, alongside the construction, renovation, and modernization of modern academic buildings in the country’s capital, modern student dormitories have been commissioned. In particular, TNU has built and commissioned a number of dormitories housing students, staff, and faculty.

Every year, with the start of the new academic year, the Tajik National University administration provides dormitory accommodation to a number of students from remote regions who lack accommodation in the city. In order to support those in need within the university’s capabilities, and in accordance with national legislation, orphans and persons with Group I disabilities are exempt from dormitory fees. At the same time, with the support of the university’s rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Nasriddinzoda E.S., students with orphanages and disabilities were exempted from tuition fees upon their request. With the support of the university administration, all dormitories were renovated and provided with comfortable living conditions. Students are assigned to dormitories based on their application and the consent of the university administration.

Regarding the placement of law students in TNU dormitories, one of the primary tasks of the university administration and the leadership of the Faculty of Law is to ensure they have adequate housing. It should be noted that in the 2025-2026 academic year, according to the approved plan of the TNU Education Department, students were assigned to dormitories No. 6 and No. 8 on September 21, 2025, and September 22, 2025. Initially, in accordance with the instructions of the TNU administration, orphans, poor students, and students with difficult living conditions were enrolled in the dormitory; students were accepted under the Presidential quota, as well as students from remote areas.

Dormitory No. 6 houses over 50 female students, while Dormitory No. 8 houses over 100 male students. Overall, it’s important to note that first- to fourth-year students from all faculty specialties are housed in TNU dormitories, where they live and study.

The Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Law has organized faculty vigils at TNU dormitories, where they inspect student living conditions daily. The Deputy Dean for Educational Work also holds educational and outreach meetings in the dormitories at least twice a month, attended by experienced faculty members.
